Latvian Foreign Minister Visits Hoover Institution
September 21, 2005

Latvia's Foreign Minister Artis Pabriks visited the Hoover Institution on September 21, 2005, where he viewed library and archival materials relating to Latvian history. Pabriks, 39, is a former political science professor specializing in nationalism, security and human rights. He was on an official visit to the United States to address the 60th session of the United Nations General Assembly on September 18. While at Stanford Pabriks also spoke at a luncheon sponsored by the European Forum.
